a letter for you
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It's a season of excitement, adventure and transition at California State Christian University’s Seminary.
I am writing to ask that you begin to partner with CSCU as we prepare to enlarge our capacity in training up church leaders that will spread the Gospel of Christ. The university is expanding by providing additional core courses; translating curriculum into multiple languages to be used throughout the world; and are building the university’s infrastructure to ensure longevity of fulfilling our mission - training leaders to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
There are many schools of theology. Classrooms are filled to the brim where lofty discussions are “about” the power of prayer, the Bible, and the Gospel of Christ. Sadly though, there is little or no prayer actually going on; there is no actual training in sharing the Gospel. In fact, some funding entities even forbid real-time ministry to take place in the classroom. At CSCU we are training leaders and pastors to engage in evangelism at the community and local church level. We are committed in training students in not only the "what" but the "how." We are asking committed Christians like you to partner with CSCU by giving a financial gift.
There are three distinct areas where your gift is needed: (1) scholarship funds for worthy students unable to underwrite the full tuition, (2) operational funds for underwriting costs associated with curriculum translation, and (3) finances to enable the university to fund an additional faculty member.
CSCU is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization therefore, your gift is tax deductible. But even more importantly, you will be leveraging your dollars for the Kingdom of Christ.
Blessings to you,
